WHAT ARE COOKIES?
Cookies are short strings of text that the websites you visit send to your browser (i.e. your browsing program such as Chrome, Mozilla, Firefox, Safari, Explorer) where they are stored and then transmitted to the same websites on subsequent visits.
While browsing, the User may also receive on his/her browser cookies sent by parties other than the owner of the website visited (so-called “third-party” cookies).
The Website may contain session cookies, which are deleted when the browser is closed, and persistent cookies, which are stored on the computer and are not automatically deleted when the User closes the browser.
A distinction can be made between technical cookies, which allow the performance of activities strictly related to the operation of the website and can be used freely, and profiling cookies, which are used to send the user advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same when browsing and for which the user’s consent must be obtained.
The User’s browser may receive technical cookies through this Website as well as profiling cookies, including third-party cookies, when using certain features.
Technical cookies
This Website uses its own and third-party technical cookies, such as browsing cookies (these are session cookies used to store browsing preferences and improve browsing on the website) and functionality cookies (used to provide specific website services). After storing them in the User’s browser, these cookies, which are used to facilitate browsing and provide the services provided by the Website, are in some cases automatically deleted at the end of the session, while in others they may remain for a variable period of time (as indicated in the tables describing each type of cookie in the following section “WHAT COOKIES DO WE USE?”), notwithstanding the user’s possibility of directly deleting them, if he/she so wishes, in the manner indicated in the section “HOW TO MANAGE COOKIES IN YOUR BROWSER”.
This Site also uses analytical cookies of third parties which collect, in an anonymous form (by masking portions of the User's IP address), statistical and aggregate information on how users navigate the site (for example, number of pages visited and accessed, time spent on the site). Specifically, these are the Analytics installed by Google, which does not have access to user identification data. For more information on how these cookies work, the user can visit the following web pages: Google Analytics - Data Protection.
As mentioned above, the use of these so-called statistical cookies does not require the User’s consent, but the User may decide to disable their use on his or her browser (see the “How to manage Cookies within your browser” section below). In this case, some features of the website may not be usable. In addition, Google Analytics cookies can be specifically rejected using the tool provided by Google.
In particular, this Site uses the technical and statistical cookies indicated in the section section “WHICH COOKIES WE USE”.
Profiling cookies and other tracking devices
When accessing this Website, users may also receive profiling cookies on their browser, installed by Ipack Ima or by third parties so that, for example, while browsing the Website, they are shown personalised advertisements based on the websites or pages of the Website previously visited and in line with their browsing preferences.
Furthermore, some pages of this Website may contain elements/spaces dedicated to enabling the use of other websites’ functions, such as Youtube videos https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=it or the so-called social buttons, which are icons that represent some social networking platforms (in particular, Facebook https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies, Twitter https://twitter.com/en/privacy, etc.) and that allow browsing users to interact with such websites with a “click”. The Website does not share any of the user’s browsing information or data with the websites accessible in this way, but the user’s use of these functions implies the possibility for the user to receive profiling cookies in his/her browser from the owners of these websites (so-called “third parties”).
Furthermore, the use of services on this website that involve the sending of emails to you by us may involve the use of markers or other tracking devices (web beacons, pixels, tags, cookies, etc.) contained in the communications you receive that allow us to identify the tools you use (IP address, browser type, etc.) and your interactions with the communications we receive (such as whether you opened a communication and visited any links contained therein).
The use of the instruments described above is subject to the user's consent, which is why, when accessing the Website, a banner is displayed to inform the user and to allow him/her to give his/her consent to receive these cookies and similar tracking devices by selecting the “Accept all cookies” button, or to refuse all cookies by selecting the “Reject all cookies” button, or to manage his/her preferences in detail by selecting the “Personalise your choices” button, which can also be found at the following link: cookie preferences.
Choices made regarding cookies are in turn stored in the user's browser and remain there for a maximum period of 6 months to avoid repeating the request to the user during that period and to allow for more efficient browsing, without prejudice to the possibility for the user to delete them at any time, if he/she so wishes, in the manner indicated in the “How to manage cookies in your browser” section.
The profiling cookies and other tracking devices used on the Website are indicated in the “WHICH COOKIES WE USE” section.
MiCo DMC do not have access to the information collected by the aforementioned profiling cookies and other third-party tracking devices, which are used in full autonomy by the operators of the aforementioned services and platforms. For more information on how the data collected through these cookies is processed, users are invited to consult the privacy policy provided by the parties providing the services in question, by clicking on the name of the party referred to as “third party”.
Alternatively, you can disable the use of third party cookies by visiting the web pages of youronlinechoices or the Network Advertising Initiative
